A Pool Shop at 191 Archers Road since way back. Originally North Shore Swimming Pool Centre, we have had a presence in Glenfield since 1976. Long time locals may recall swimming in the pools out the front of 191 Archers Road while pool and spa water was tested in(the)house.

Pool and spa equipment was repaired in the sheds out the back. In the 90’s the house, sheds and (sadly) the pools were moved off site to make way for the building we remain in today. We still test water, and we still make repairs out the back.

Over time we shortened our trading name to Pool Doctor, better reflecting our services (and to make answering the phones easier).

The fleet of vans making house calls have changed from first responder red, to white, but little else has changed.

We remain dedicated to the health of your pool and spa.

We aim to make it easy for you so you can spend less time working on pool or spa chores and more time in them.

  • Retail Shop

    We offer free water testing, advice, and guidance instore to help you keep your pool and spa water healthy. We carry the required chemicals, accessories, equipment, and spares to keep pool maintenance as easy as possible to keep a pool running optimally and looking great.

  • Deliveries

    Chemicals are classed as dangerous goods, so we are not able to deliver via standard couriers. Pool Doctor can make local deliveries, or we can book specialist chemical couriers.

  • Pool Valet Service

    You swim! we'll do the work! Our expert valet teams are available to keep your pool balanced and clean.

  • Servicing

    Our experienced service technicians can diagnose and repair or replace.
